Cholula is having trouble finding it’s niche in the ever-growing hot sauce aisle. I created wo-step social campaign that highlights their flavors and heritage to help them stand out from their competition.
Cholula is one of the oldest hot sauce brands you can find on a grocery store shelf. This has allowed the brand to expand into a ton of different flavors that other, less-established brands haven’t explored.
Cholula has been made in Chapala, Mexico for over 100 years, rooted in a recipe that reflects real Mexican culinary tradition. That authenticity gives it a credibility that newer, trend-driven competitors can't replicate.
Unlike brands built around a single profile, Cholula offers a full family of varieties, making it a versatile staple that works across cuisines and occasions.
This is a social – forward, two step Brand campaign that utilizes Cholula's two core differentiators to help them stand out in this ever-growing industry. This is an all-female campaign to give a nod to Cholula’s inventor.
This isn’t the flashy “Tripping With Tarte” brand trip you’re thinking of. Cholula is taking culinary influencers to the heart of the brand- Lake Chapala, Mexico, which is home to the one and only Cholula factory.
